We Have a Date!!

We know when our baby will be here! No name yet...but we know the day she'll arrive.

August 3! That's just 3 short weeks from this coming Friday! I'll be 38 weeks pregnant, which makes me happy! I can't believe she'll soon be here. Jackson was dancing around like a crazy  boy all excited when I told him that she's coming in 3 weeks and Jacob freaked out! He can't believe it's "only" 3 weeks away! LOL He said that the pregnancy has went by very quickly! I have to agree it HAS went by quickly!

This pregnancy has been really over all easy. I've had a lot of issue's in the last few weeks especially with sciatic nerve issue's. Thankfully since last Friday it's stayed away. I've truly loved feeling her move around. She's definately my most active baby while in utero. I know what a blessing pregnancy is. I didn't enjoy and praise God like I should have with Jordyn and most definately not with Jacob. With Jackson I made an effort to just enjoy his pregnancy and this one has just seemed natural to enjoy it. It's never been like this before and how thankful I am. I think of the women who are not able to feel this blessing and the women who for what ever reason choose to not have this blessing. I don't understand it personally (for those who choose). I even feel for men. What a blessing it is. We have these months all to ourselves ultimately. From the times when you as Momma can feel them move, but no one else can, even when others can it's just not the same. To feel them INSIDE of your body. It's such a miracle and such a blessing. God is good.

So as for the rest of my day! I have been cleaning. I got my kitchen all cleaned up. Got the living room cleaned, because our new furniture is being delivered today!! I called to find out an aprox time and she said ready for this? Between noon and 8 pm! Ugh! She said that we're no. 8 out of 12 for delivery so she doesn't think it'll be too late, but well it's obviously going to be later in the afternoon/early evening. I'm going to guess in the next 2 to 3 hours it'll be here. We'll see. I can't wait for it to get here. Chad's going to be busy once it's here and he's home for work. We will be rearranging the furniture until it looks right. Our living room is very nice size, but we have a good amount of furniture and getting it all to look right in the space isn't always easy. We may change it a few times before I'm completely happy with it! :) I know, I know...poor Chad! LOL He already knows though what he's facing.

I have laundry in the laundry room waiting for me, but seriously I just have no motivation to go down there. I will in a little while, well can't say I'll have the motivation but I will go down and do it. I'm just tired of it. It's constant. The boys are cleaning their playroom. They're about 5 seconds from being in the biggest trouble of their life if I keep hearing them messing around in there. I am not a mom who just keeps letting them get away with things. I have about oh ZERO patience right now and if they haven't made a huge amount of progress on the room in about 30 minutes they're going to really not like me! Which is fine. I'm not here to be their friend. I'm their mom and this isn't a democracy, it's a dictatorship and I'm the iron fisted ruler. Oh and last but not least. My allergies are acting up again. I haven't been able to breath in over a week, but today I have a lovely sinus headache and my teeth and jaw are aching. So I'm prob. developing a sinus infection. We'll see how I feel tomorrow, I may end up going to the clinic. I hate going there we have one dr that is compitent, the rest are nit wits, and we won't even go into the reception desk...lets just say they don't have a clue on what customer service is and it often makes you want to reach over the desk, grab them up, and slap them about oh a 1,000 times over or until your hand/arm are tired of slapping. :X

Ok, I'm off to go relax in the reclyner. Oh Chad got the couch (old one) and the huge cario cabinet downstairs. The small cario cabinet is still up here and so is the reclyner so I have something to sit in. Sorry but sitting on a hard dining room chair is not happening for me. Although had I thought about it, I could have just had him take the reclyner and brought the glider that's in the boys room out here. Oh well, too late now!

I'll take pictures of everyone once it's here and situated (even if only temporary). I'll take pictures of the new entertainment center as well!! :)

I'm so excited that you got a date - I'm sure it makes it more real for you now.  I can't wait to see the pictures of all the new furniture, you've been talking about it for so long that I'm sure you're anxious to get it all set up and organized.  Leene

Yeah for a date!  I know it will rock your boys' world.  But in a good way.  Enjoy some relaxation.

Yay!  Three weeks!  I can't wait to "meet" her.  I remember those last few weeks--they flew but yet at times seemed to just creep and crawl.  I will keep you in my prayers and believe that all will go well.

I love how you parent...you have been a good example to me. As a teacher I see too many parents who want to be their kids friends and these children have no sense of direction or consequences and always expect mommy and daddy to bail them out. It's sad really.  I understand it's easier at times to not fight the battles but it sure is worth it in the long haul! :)

God bless

Janis

Cool beans.. the baby will be here in no time. Are you using another J name? I like Jaedyn that's really pretty. I don't know if you'd spell it that way but it goes with Jordyn's name.
I think you should use Nevaeh as a middle name, Heaven spelled backwards. She is another gift from God to you all. I never used to like that name, but now it's growing on me.
If my friend Lisa was commenting she'd suggest Jorja (like the actress from CSI).
Good luck I can't wait to hear her beautiful name and see her picture.
Take care, Chrissie
