Easy Like Sunday Morning

EASY - like Sunday Morning!

Here's my question of the week.  Answer it in your journal and come back here and leave me a link in the comments.  I'll post your links on Saturday and we'll start over again next week :-)

Tell me......

"Do you have a favorite 'comfort food'......extra points if you share a recipe!"

My favorite stroganoff! Here's the recipe! Let me know if you try it!

1 lb ground beef

1/4 cup quick oats

1 egg

2 Tbsp Ketchup

1 Tbsp minced onions

1/2 tsp salt

1 (12 oz) pkg Reame Egg noodles (I honestly prefer the reames, they do taste better, but you can use reg. egg noodles or home made noodles taste great too)

1 T margerine or butter

1 T parsley (optional)

1 (10-3/4 oz) can of cream of mushroom soup (do NOT use fat free or less fat, it effects the taste and not in a good way)

1/2 cup of sour cream (again do not use reduced or fat free for same reason as above)

1/2 c milk

1-1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

Meatballs: Preheat over on 450 degree's: Combine beef, oats, egg, kethcup, onion, and salt;mix thoroughly. Shape into balls, and bake for 8-10 minutes (can take longer)

Noodles: Cook uncovered in boiling water, drain. Melt butter, add noodles and parsley, and toss. Cover and keep warm

Sauce: Combine soup and sour cream, heat slowly, slowly stir in milk and paprika.

***Can stir in meatballs to sauce.

Serve over meatballs.

I just got off with a friend, who'll remain nameless, she knows who she is! ROFL

Make sure to cook the meatballs in a cake/baking dish! Do NOT use a cookie sheet! ROFL!

Bwaaaaahahahahahahaha!  EASY?   Yeah, if you DON'T use a cookie sheet to cook your meatballs on!  ROFL.  So I'm new at this cooking thing.  I don't know what to cook meatballs on!  So, I found flames in the back of my oven and prayed for my babies' lives!  LOL  But yeah, the meatballs are not burned and I'm off to see just how EASY the rest of this recipe is, Miss Christy! LOL  Ohh, what a sense of humor my Lord must have... to call ME to be a housewife!  Hahahahahaha....  :P
