Leaving for the weekend

Our chapel is hosting a retreat for our community down in Garmisch at Edelweiss, and we are going! They have childcare for Jack, Jacob will be in a program the resort offers for older kids, and Emma will of course stay with us! The sessions will only be about 1 hr each day, the rest of the time is free time! We're looking forward to it, it'll be so nice to get away and we LOVE going down to Garmisch and Edelweiss.

We'll of course take pictures so I'll share them when we get home. We'll be home sometime on Sunday, depending on how tired I am I may post Sunday, otherwise it'll be Monday! Have a great weekend!!

Yay!!! You know, my friend in Hohensfeld (sp?) is with PWOC. I know she was going to Edelweiss, too. I'm just not sure when.

HI Christy,

Thanks for the comments in my journal. :)  It's good to be back! lol  I have heard of First Place. In fact my former church has it but it did not meet at a time I could do it. Two friends and I tried to do it on our own but we only made it like 4 weeks and then that fell apart. I would love to get back into it because I think that is a huge piece of the puzzle--doing it with God. I know I can't do it alone but it is almost like I am ashamed to ask God for help because I feel like I should be able to do it alone.  It is a spiritual battle in a lot of ways. Too often I turn to food when I should turn to prayer.

Love seeing pictures of your little one. I so miss those days. You already know how fast they go.  I am starting to crave for number 2. :)

Have a good one!
