Day 20 of 30 days of Thanksgiving

Today I'm thankful for my parents. Today they are celebrating their 31st Wedding Anniversary. I think they're probably more in love today than the day they were married. Although my parents are not perfect, and I wish they would have done some things differently with raising me (like raising my brother and I in the church and made sure we developed a relationship with Christ). They did set a wonderful example of marriage. They would disagree in front of us and settle it in front of us, but not very often. They taught us the value of hard work and most of all dedication.

I grew up seeing a great example of a happy marriage! I'm so thankful they taught me the value and sanctity of marriage. Today for many if not most, it's just one more throw away issue.

I'm Thankful for the same thing- mine will be having their 50th in 2 years.  I wish I didn't live so far away from my folks either- it would help having them closer while I'm trying to be a good wife and mother!  Your folks sound a lot like mine- in that it's so nice to see people who still love each other so much after most of their lives together!!!  Have a great Thanksgiving Chrissy! God Bless!  Carolyn
