Bible Study and Sharing

Today our first class started for our women's bible study. I'm a co-facilitator for our class, which is for the book "A Love Worth Giving" by Max Lucado. I've been reading the book for a few weeks and have been convicted numerous times.

Today after eating, praising, and worship we seperated into our classes (we have 3 classes going on). I passed out the books, went over the schedule, discussed different things, did an ice breaker, etc...then I was asked what brought me to GOD. I shared Jordyn with everyone and in a matter of moments had a room full of women bawling. It definately wasn't my intention to go in there and even share my testimony, but it was asked and when I got home I got a phone call from one of the ladies in our class and she thanked me, said she needed to be convicted on what I had to share. Whoa, that blew me out of the water.

I'm always amazed at how God will use us. How him loving us so much that he sent his only son to die for ME and for YOU just amazes me. It was really an amazing morning. God constantly amazes me in how he uses us for HIS Glory!

I'll write more later, but I have a baby crying! :)

I'm amazed too, Christy, in my life how the Lord uses me if I allow Him to. What a great testimony you are to others around you.

I'm sure I would be crying too!  You only have to touch on life to make a difference in the world.  Sharing your story and being a part of this study will bless many lives!  Good luck with it all!

Christy that's awesome!

I belong to a womens faith circle devotional group from our church.  We all take turns hosting the meeting and having devotions and bringing food.

The two months I was in bed sick last year was when I did my major bible study.  I started out with my Sunday School lessons and then got into Psalms.  It just fit my life.  The good, bad and ugly!  Everything I read exactly applied to my life just as it was  at that point.  Now I can read the same scripture and it means something different-depending on where my life it.  Weird, but awesome!

God Bless You with your study group!

Isn't it amazing how the most devastating and painful events in our lives can be used to bless someone else.  At times like those it makes me realize that the suffering was not in vain.  I found you journal earlier today, I left a comment, pu nthe kids down for a nap and then I came back for more!  I think you journal is excellent.  It's always nice to find other young women who love the Lord.  I will certainly be back often. May God Continue to pour out blessings for you and your family.

Take Care,
K. Woolard
