Above is one of MANY Hops fields through out Germany. My pictures truly don't do justice to the brightness of the yellow of the hops, or the green grass either. I love being here in all this beauty. I look at those fields and although those beautiful flowers are made to make beer, they're a way of life for many, they're a history for the people here and the future. For those who've never been to Germany, beer is more than just a drink over here. It's a part of who they are. In many places, beer is cheaper to buy than a pop and almost always cheaper than a bottle of water.

I love driving around here and looking at the hops fields. I'm thankful God's allowed me to view this beauty!

When I lived in Oregon, they grew hops up these trellises.  It looked like hard work.  Very pretty picture.
