Day Is Done

I have an old Girl Scout song in my head that starts with "Day is done, gone the sun" I can't remember the whole song, but there are parts I remember and I definately remember the tune! Anyways....my day is done and I'm going to bed here in just a few minutes.

First thing first my friend Emily is graduating college today. Well technically she's walking across the stage today, she'll officially graduate in August as she has I believe it's 1 class that she has to take this summer. I can't remember all the details as it's been months since we talked about it, but I believe either the class was not offered this past semester or just wouldn't work with her schedule. Either way she's walking across that stage today, or did walk across it this afternoon! I'm truly so proud of her. She's the momma of soon to be 3, she's pregnant and due in late July and has 2 beautiful, busy little girls. She's been a stay at home mom, child care provider over the last 2 years, wife, daughter, friend. She did her internship the last 5 or 6 months and finished I think it was a week ago with that, she did that at her church. She's most importantly a woman after God's heart. She loves Jesus and wants to do his will. He's definately showed her opportunities, whether those opportunities were to just see if she'd obey him that's still to be seen, but he's using her! Anyways...I'm so proud of my precious friend Emily and if you get a chance go by her blog and tell her congrats....job well done!  Emily-Really Living

So today I didn't do a lot. I matched and folded socks. I hate socks. Now I really hate doing laundry in general, but the topper of all of it is of course those stinking socks! I had a full basket of the darn things. I'm done. I need to put mine and Chad's away and there's tons of the boys that are too small for them. I'm actually thinking I'm just going to take them down to the recycling center. They're all still in good condition. They have someone(s) go through all the clothing and they take them to local orphanage and woman's shelter. So at least they'll be used and I'm sure needed. I couldn't believe how many socks we have. I need to go through mine and Chad's as well and get rid of some. For a few years I've felt like I never had socks. I think it's because I've just not matched them up! LOL Since moving here I have made quite a collection of cute socks actually which is nice since I've never really hadany. Just basic white, normally a pair or two of khaki, brown, and black ones. Now I have some really cute ones, multi-colored, cute designs, etc. I still have to have some basic white ones, but not as many! ;) Chad has always had a ton of socks. I just seem to buy him socks and underwear, especially during deployments when the man's not even home to wear them! Now I'll send the underwear down range, but not the socks since he can't wear white ones.

Chad did go and get things done though that needed to be done. He went out to take the van and go change the oil at the craft shop here on post (him changing it) and when he went out there noticed I had a flat. I'd noticed the other day there was an air bubble in one of my tires and I mentioned it to Chad and he said he'd take care of it. We haven't been driving my van since we got the free car and have been driving it around so not sure if it just went flat in the last couple or days or if it's been flat for a week. The last time it was driven was by Chad when he went and picked up the table, and he would have obviously noticed if the tire was flat! So anyways, off he went to the car care center to buy a tire and of course they don't have the tire we need on hand, so he went into town/on the economy and bought one. A little more expensive but well beggars can't be choosers and he bought it. He has a soldier who has 4 new tires that he wants to sell for $100.00 (total) he just has to get into his storage room, where he put them, downtown at his I believe ex-girlfriends. Chad says they're still friends, who knows that's more drama than I care to know or deal with. I told Chad if he can get the tires great if not each month we'll just go in and buy a new tire. At this point we just need two more tires. None of the tires are bad (well not now) but they are wearing down so it'd be good to have new tires. I had to buy a new tire last fall when a guy ran be off the road and my back right side tire blew. It would be good to have 4 new ones and then we'd have 2 just on hand. We have a donut as a spare that's under my van. I told Chad if we get the extra tires I'd prefer to obviously have him if possible put the regular tire under there and we just store the donut. They're not the worst things and hey if you have a flat at least you have something, but better to have the real, full size thing!

So...Chad got the tire took the van, changed the tire and the oil. He let one of the Chaplain assistants borrowour spare car to go get grocery's. She didn't bring it back so Chad went and found her at the CAC (Community Activities Center), the car has our car seats in it for the boys. He was annoyed with her, she'd had the car for almost 3 hrs! He told her that if she couldn't be considerate of other people's property then she needs to think twice about borrowing things. I am surprised he said this to her, that's not his way, mine yes, but not his. He's usually the ultimate nice guy who at times gets walked on. He said he just couldn't believe she was so inconsiderate. I am sure that when he said it he still said it nicely, but he said she definately understood and that she apologized for being inconsiderate.

I made a nice dinner tonight. We had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and peas. Chad walked in the door after doing all that work and said "this is what I love walking in and smelling. It smells great!" It was nice to be appreciated for a meal I worked hard on! I don't always enjoy cooking, but there are times when I do. Tonight was one of them. It's nice to make a nice meal for my family. The boys can be hit or miss sometimes with meatloaf. Mine is NEVER dry. My mom taught me how to make a meatloaf right! They're also both not too big on mashed potatoes, and hit or miss on peas. Well tonight Chad had 2nds, Jacob had 2nds on everything but peas, and Jack had 2nds on meatloaf. They all were raving over how good it tasted. I made raspberry lemonaide too. Of course I'm paying for the drink now, heart burn big time. I was full after one plate (the baby is definately taking up room, which is a GOOD thing!). We have no left overs. I don't mind that though, I'm not a huge fan of left overs, other than a few certain things. After dinner I had to relax on the couch because I was stuffed. The boys went into our bedroom (all 3 of them! LOL) and played Playstation 2. I got up and cleaned up the kitchen. I will need to sweep and mop it tomorrow, it'll just be along with the rest of the house though. I've done a good job at making sure the house over all has stayed clean. The boys have done such an awesome job at picking up their toys with NO fits!! Jacob normally doesn't throw one, but Jack does at times. Jacob picked up his toys before he went outside to play and I told Jack if he wanted to go out he just had to pick up his toys, he did...no complaints! So off they went to play with daddy until dinner was done! :)

So anyways they played on the game for about 30minutes and I had them get into the shower, because they were dirty little messes! They got out of the shower and back in with Daddy they went...they all 3 fell asleep playing that stupid game! LOL Chad woke up and carried them both to bed! They're all 3 fast asleep now.

I told Jacob today that tomorrow they will be going to bed EARLY. We have to be up about 4:30 am Monday morning to go get my parents, so I'd like them to get as much sleep as possible. So Jack will prob. just miss out on his nap. We have a list of things we want to get done tomorrow (ha ha on resting on Mother's Day!). Most of it shouldn't take long. I will throw the laundry in. I have 2 dvd stands I'm taking down to our storage room (we're going to put them in a yard sale), and I'm going to take my Gazelle (work out machine) down there as well, or Chad will. He has a few things he wants to take down there. I need to vacuum my bedroom and sweep the floor (we just have a carpet in there that goes under our bed and sticks out a little on each side. Then just do some organizing the dressers, my night stand, my desk is a mess. Chad is going to go fill up the gas tank on my van and put the boys car/booster seats in the van. Jacob's going to take out the recycling and we should be good! Then we can relax. I'm going to request Chad make Goulash, Fried Potatoes (yep fried..gasp I know), and corn bread for dinner, oh and probably peas (love them!). We're going to be eating out quite a bit while my parents are here (just for the fact that we're going to be traveling so much!!). Oh shoot and we need to go to the commissary tommorrow and get my parents their coffee. I can't forget that! Chad and I don't drink coffee so we don't keep it on hand.

I'm thinking maybe I might take a nice warm bath tomorrow evening once we're all done and then tuck myself into bed.

Monday morning we'll get up, get dressed, then stop at the bakery. I'm going to grab us some brotchen and pretzels and off we go. Oh I need to have Chad pick up some bottles of water tomorrow too when he's getting gas for our drive and also at least one bottle each for my parents. Germany you find mostly "bubbly water" (carbonated) at gas stations, etc...which to me is YUCK and I know my parents don't like it.

I don't expect I'll have much if any time on here tomorrow and don't expect to see me on here until maybe Thursday which we'll get back from Salzburg Wed evening or night and be home Thursday then Friday we're off to The Netherland's! I'm so excited about going there!!!

My mom and dad are so excited. Last night they took my  nieces out to Taco Bell (my 5 yr old nieces request) they are my brother's little girls. Mom took pictures of them as well especially for me. Today mom was going to go up to their house (my brother and his wife built a house on my parents land, so they live about 1/4 of a mile from them). My brother has our dogs so I asked mom to take a picture of BJ and Brittany too. Man we miss them. In the morning they're heading to my Grandpa's (mom's dad) and his wonderful wife's house (really she's wonderful...we all adore her!) they have our cat, Cassie. I asked her to take a picture of her too. Cassie spends a great amount of her time outside, but Nona (grandma) said she'll try to get her to come inside tomorrow so mom can get pictures of her as well. I should have told mom to take pictures of my grandpa and grandma too. We miss our cat as well and we really miss my grandpa and his wife.

My grandpa was stationed in Germany 50 some years ago. He was in Kitzigen. It's about an hour or so away from where we're at. He actually said he spent a great amount of time in the city where we're stationed at. I love that I know I walk some the same streets he used to walk. I adore my grandpa. He's just the most wonderful man and wish so much he'd come to visit. He said he did  his time in Germany. I know it was a much different place then. It was past WWII, but not much past so I am not sure what sort of memories he has of over here, but I think some of them must be hard because he doesn't talk a lot about them. I know one of his memories is that his Daddy died while he was stationed here and the Red Cross did not deliver the message to him in time for him to even make the funeral. To this dad when he talks about his dad, he calls him Daddy. Grandpa was the only son out of 5 children. So I think that might be some of his sadness over Germany and maybe why he doesn't want to visit. He of course hates the Red Cross and well we had a horrible experience with them as well when Jordyn died (they wouldn't help Chad get home to me when she died, he was in Ohio for his Grandpa's funeral and they were rude and wouldn't do a thing for him until they opened up at 9 am...Jordyn died at 5 am) so our family is NOT a supporter of Red Cross and they'll never get a penny of our money. Anyways....Grandpa and Grandma will be taking my parents to the airport. They live about 30 minutes or so from KCI so it's nice that my parents can leave their car at Grandpa's safe and sound, and have a warm drop off and warm welcome home when they return.

Well, it's almost 12:30 am and I'm so wiped out, my back is killing me.

Oh you all will be happy to know I really did not out do myself today. Just cooking and folding socks, oh and cleaning up the kitchen. I even laid down for a while in bed, while Jack was napping and let Jacob play on the playstation (it's in our bedroom so it's not a focal point in our family life...it's only allowed on Saturday's). I didn't actually get to sleep, but just laying there and resting felt so good. I was wiped out all day and evening though. I know it's pregnancy and everything we got done this last week! It was well worth it though. Tomorrow will not be all that restful during the day. When we get home from church, we'll prob. just have sandwiches and start cleaning and organizing the last bit and hopefully by 4 or 5 we'll be done and I can rest, Chad can make dinner, and get the boys to bed by 7 is my goal! It's an hour and a half earlier than normal. I want them to take a nice warm bath too. I think I'll put some oatmeal in their bath and I have some lavender and hopefully that'll relax them. No toys in the bath. Then read them a story or two.

They Arrived!!!!!!!

My mom just signed for their Passports! She said she was ready to give the Fed Ex guy a tip! LOL She said she just feels so much better, let me so do I! We got almost everything done today. I got my vacuuming done, the boys room is clean, our now old dining room table (just 4 yrs old but only seated 4) is taken apart, and taken to the storage room. Chad took the government desk down to the storage room as well. I got my craft table moved to where the desk was. All my laundry is put away.

All we have left now is to take Jacob's bed down so we have the two twin beds side by side and finish our bedroom. We'll finish that tomorrow! I don't think Chad's going to take the beds down tonight, but who knows he could surprise me! LOL

We're almost done and all ready for my parents arrival. Ultimately I don't have to have it perfect. I didn't grow up in a house that was always perfect. It was always nice, clean, and comfortable. It's just been a long time since I've seen my parents and well I want it to look as nice as absolutely possible! Of course looking at my desk I need to straighten it up, but that's all I need to do, straighten it up!  I'm actually thinking of talking to Chad and seeing if he'll let the boys have their friend Brandon stay the night. His mom is a great friend of mine and her husband just left for a deployment and I think a break here and there will be nice. She has a new born baby so it's once less child to worry about.

I think it'll all depend if we get everything done tomorrow or not, we should since there really isn't much to finish. We do want to make a run to the commissary in the next 2 days to get my parents their coffee (we don't drink it so we don't have it on hand) and get a few snacks for at least our trip down to Garmisch. We have plenty of fruit, but a little junk is nice too! LOL

 

I have to tell you though the instant relief I feel now, knowing that all is good with the passports for my parents is great! My mom called and made sure everything is good with their plane tickets. We actually purchased them over here, because they were so much cheaper and they'll just pick them up at the ticket counter. Thankfully KCI is a small airport, so that part will be painless for them and been there at least 50 times or more literally.

Ok well I'm off to get off of here! We didn't end up having dinner because our lunch was so late, but I think I'll make me a snack!

Our Itenerary While My parents are here

We are going to be busy! Chad and I just finalized reservations for when we go up to The Netherland's a week from today! So here's what our next 2 weeks are going to be like!

Monday my parents arrive bright and early so we plan to be on the road no later than 5 am, we will stop at a local bakery and pick up some breakfast and snacks (something for my parents as well). Come home we hope to be home by noon or so. They will take a shower, take a nap if they want. We will then go downtown and tour around if they're up for it. That evening we're going out to eat at a Greek restuarant.

Tuesday Chad has to go to his ortho's office for blood draw (he has knee surgery on May 31, PRAISE GOD!! Finally 2 years of waiting it's happening). As soon as he gets home we'll head down to Garmisch. We'll stop at Schloss Linderhof, then after that we'll go to Edelweiss and check in. We'll then head downtown to Garmisch, walk around, go out to eat at our favorite restuarant there. Come back, go swimming and hot tubbing.

Wed morning check out of the hotel and drive over to Salzburg, Austria. Tour the city. Head home late afternoon early evening (it's about 2-3 hr drive).

Thursday REST. Jackson has his 2nd tball game at 5:30 that evening, so we'll all go to that and cheer him on. Do laundry, watch American Idol and House! LOL

Friday get up and on the road by 6 am is the goal and head to The Netherland's. We'll be staying just outside of Haarlem. We can check into our hotel anytime after 1400 (2 pm) so we may just push back our leave time to 7:30 or so, which I have to say wouldn't make me sad in the least!Check into the hotel, then go into Haarlem and do some sight seeing. If we can get into Corrie TenBoom's house that will be great, if not I'm thinking we'll see how far it is to the shore and drive over there and put our feet in the sea!

Saturday morning we're going to Keukenhof. www.keukenhof.com We'll spend our day there.

Sunday morning, get up and drive home, rest for the evening.

Monday we have planned to go to Rothenburg. This is only if we're not all too exhausted. If we are then we'll just hang around home, do laundry, take Jacob to tball practise that evening, maybe go downtown and walk around a little.

Tuesday we're off to the Black Forest! We'll be doing clock shopping. My parents want a nice coo-coo clock and Chad and I do as well. Chad and I area also going to look at Grandfather Clocks for the future. We'll at least pick one out and then start putting money aside for it. We'll explore over there (it's about 2-3 hrs from us) come home.

Wed morning Mom and I will be on the road by 6 am. We're going to Poland! We'll shop all day and head home late afternoon/early evening! I would like to be home by 11 pm.

Thursday Jack has his last tball game. We'll probably go to a local castle but otherwise just laundry and resting.

Friday again local things and Jacob has his last tball game.

Saturday My parents head back to Kansas.

 

We will be busy but I think we're going to have a GREAT time. Chad and I will take turns driving.

So if you'll say prayers for us over the next two weeks for safe travel and a good visit I'd appreciate it!

The passports are to be delivered via Fed Ex no later than 4:30 today!!!!! I am relieved and I know my parents are! Thank you for the prayers!!

Update

Still no passports. It's about 4 in Kansas now and I haven't heard from my mom since we left for Jack's tball game. The last time I chatted with her my annoyance came through. I know she's limited on her end and I have absolutely no control on mine. It's just frustrating. I know with all the new regulations on needing a passport to go anywhere outside of the US has brought in a new back log on this process, but seroiusly it's just rediculous. Since all they had to do was renew they should have had their passports back almost 2 months ago, so yes to say I'm annoyed is putting it lightly. I'm sure they're over worked and understaffed which again annoys me. They obviously should have hired way more people since they're requiring passports every where now.

On other news...Jack had his first game tonight. He's 3 yrs old and the bracket he's in is for 3-5 yr olds...you can guess how amusing that was! The girls slow pitch was practicing when we first started and when they were done some came over and were ewwing and awwwing over our sweeties! They were so cute and soooo funny! It was truly a crack up to watch. They'd hit the ball and then go after the ball and hand it to who ever was at the base they decided to run to! LOL I ran the bases with Jackson and let me tell you, pregnant women have no business running the bases with 3 yr olds! All the kids had a good time and all were excited for their snacks! LOL

We came home and since I was exhausted before the game I was completely worn out and honestly not sure what the heck I'm doing still up! Oh I did get all my bedding washed today and the bed is now remade! I have 2 more baskets of clothes to put away tomorrow, which of course I have a basket of dirty clothes now too that I'll wash tomorrow so it'll end up 3 total. I do plan on getting the 2 sitting in our room put up in the morning.

Chad was supposed to have a 3 day weekend, but it'll be more like a 1/2 day because he has to go to Graf and drop off something, for work. I am annoyed about it, but it is what it is and I can't do anything about it. I'm going to try to have all the floors swept, vacuumed, and mopped by the time Chad gets home. The boys have been doing a great job keeping the playroom cleaned up and today got a good amount of their bedroom cleaned up. Tonight I told them they will not be doing anything until their bedroom is clean tomorrow. I said they can eat breakfast, go to the restroom, brush their teeth, but then it's cleaning time and if they come out for anything or I catch them playing they're in trouble. (Well they'll be able to come out and put toys away that are to be in the playroom or put books on the book shelf. Really there's not much more than 30 minutes of work for THEM to do if they do it. I could easily go in there and be done with it in about 10 or 15 minutes, but well I work faster! LOL This is THEIR job and they will do it!). I'm planning on getting stuff done in our bedroom, mostly it's just some heavy items that Chad needs to take to our storage room, then I can vacuum and sweep in there and it'll be done.

My GOAL is to have our rooms nice enough that I don't have to close them when company comes over. Oh yes my friends...I'm one of those "my bedroom is my DIRTY little secret" LOL and half the time the boys room too. I told the boys and Chad that I am not going to let this happen anymore, the doors will be staying open from here on out. There's just no reason for this.

It's just as much my fault as it is theirs. I've allowed it to happen and did enforce the rules. I'm a pretty strict mom the way it is, and this is one area that I'm going to be strict on as well.

I know a few of you have commented about it being spring cleaning or nesting...trust me it's not either of them. This is preparing for my parents plain and simple. I've NEVER nested with ANY of my children. EVER! Not the way some women do. I also never "spring clean" like some do either. In all honesty I'd love to just hire a maid to come in every day and clean up after ME! Most of all laundry..all of it the washing, drying, folding, and putting it away. I hate everything about laundry. But that's not going to happen so I am just going to have to buck up and stay on top of it. It is nice to not have a huge pile of it just luming at me, screaming "wash me" or "put me away". Well I do still have 2 laundry baskets to put away, but hey it's not the 5 that I did have!!! My goal is to keep the loads small enough that I can carry them up and down myself without having to wait on Chad! I have a small basket that I have the dirty load in right now and it's just the right size. It's 3 days worth of dirty clothes for all 4 of us, and so it's not that heavy, the basket is small and easy for me to carry. Please be in prayer for me over this, yes I'm serious prayer over this. If you understood just how much I dispise laundry you'd be down on your knee's right now.

Ok now onto something else. My pregnancy. It's going well. She moves all the time. We're playing around with a few names. I am really liking one name in particular right now and Chad likes it, but he's not feeling it quite as strongly as I am. I'm not 100% set on it, just about 85 % loving it. I won't be sharing so don't ask! Chad has a couple names he keeps throwing out there. It's funny the name I'm loving he really liked with Jackson and the name he's loving I really liked with Jackson...before we knew Jack was a boy! LOL So it'll be interesting on what we decide on. On other things with the pregnancy I've been dealing with itchy skin, around my shin area and ankle and top of my foot, especially on my right leg/foot. I actually have a nasty scar on my leg from all the scratching (did that in my sleep mostly). My left leg will itch at times, but as often or as severe as my right leg. I have some body cream that I have Chad put on it and that does help. I've also got to the point where I'm making Chad scratch/rub where I'm itching so I don't cause anymore damage to my skin! I can't wear very many of my socks because my ankels and legs swell up some when I do, so I'm pretty well living in sandels and well I need some new ones with more support and that are more comfortable for long amounts of walking. Hopefully I can find something I like and that meets the criteria's I have! I have had some minor heartburn, but it's not like it was which is nice. This little girl is like her sister and loves to stick her foot up under my left rib and set it right on the nerve under it. It drives me batty and I find myself pushing trying to move her foot. Thankfully hers is not stuck like Jordyn's was and she will move it if I annoy her enough! She's head down and has been for quite a while. She could obvious still flip around, but it really doesn't matter for me since I'll have a c-section. I'm also over 6 months along! I'm almost into my 3rd trimester too! The pregnancy is going by rather quickly. I can't believe it's May and I'm due in mid August! I'm sure as the heat returns and I get bigger and bigger it's not going to feel like the time is going by so quickly but right now I'm having a really lovely 2nd trimester!

One really great thing about this pregnancy is that I've been going to bed much earlier! Tonight I'm up later than most nights. I am going to bed soon though! So if you're praying for me to have sleep, thank you! It seems to be working!

Prayers

My parents are coming to visit us, they'll be arriving Monday morning. They sent their passports in, in Feb. All they had to do was have them renewed, which is a much faster process than if you're getting one for the first time. Well they still have not arrived.

I'm the queen of procrastination, but well my mom who normally isn't, has been on this and it's driving me crazy. She's one who's willing to just let people do their job you could say and no question, but sit at home and gripe about it. She called a couple weeks ago and they were processing and the guy she talked to said "don't worry they'll be there on time" and told her if she hadn't recieved them by yesterday to call...so she waited until yesterday and called. Now I would have been calling last week personally. I'm just simply not that patient when it comes to something this important. Their tickets are NON REFUNDABLE and if they don't have their passports they can not come. So Mom called yesterday and they told her they were going to be sent out yesterday priority mail and they should arrive either today or tomorrow. They told her she could call last night to check on them, she didn't. She waited until this morning and she got told they hadn't went out yet! AHHHHHHHHH The lady she talked to said "they'll go out Fed Ex today no later than 5 pm)...sorry but I don't trust them. She said the lady gave her the Fex Ex no. and a tracking no. so she can keep track of where they're at. Fed Ex does deliver on Saturday's but this is simply rediculous. They mailed their passports in more than enough time to have recieved them back in plenty of time. They've lied to my mom and that does not sit well with me at all. If they'd tell me anything I'd call them, but I'm sure they wouldn't tell me anything.

I've been completely nagging my mom about the passports as well and will definately be sending her IM's today and tomorrow to make sure she's called Fed Ex and to make sure she stays on top of them to get them to her in time.

I'm starting to get stressed out by all of this. It's rediculous. Their flight leaves Sunday afternoon!

 

So please pray for peace for me. I really do KNOW this is all in God's control. I do, it's my human side coming out for sure!!! Please pray that Fed Ex will pick up those passports before noon today and get them to Kansas ASAP! Honestly my request is that by tomorrow afternoon my mom has her and my dad's passports in her hands.

Prayers that Chad and I get everything done we want to get done in the next 4 days. I am about to go put up all the folded laundry I have in my room. I'm washing all my bedding right now. I was going to wash the boys bedding, but decided to just wait until Sunday to do that. It'll be simple and just one of those small things to do.

Chad's got a 3 day weekend this weekend, so he'll be home tomorrow all day! We can get our bedroom and the boys bedroom done tomorrow and Saturday. Our room is almost done to where I want it to be and the boys room there's not much to do. The biggest thing is getting the top bunk down and placing them the way we want. They'll be side by side at least for now. Not sure if we'll stack them back up once my parents leave or not. I won't really be able to help Chad taking them down or stacking them the way it is, so I'm thinking we'll prob. leave them as seperate beds for the next few months at least until after the baby is born.

Oh Jackson's supposed to have his 1st game tonight. He plays instructional tball. It's been raining here for the last couple days and it looks like it could start raining any moment. So we'll just see!

Ok...I'm off to start putting clothes away...fun, fun, fun.

and this horrible day will be over. I hate this day more than any other. I wish I could just skip May 8, sleep it away...but being a mom doesn't allow that. My day was full of thoughts of Jordyn. I woke up not in a good mood, tired from my early wake up...the boys didn't wake up until after 8:30, I simply moved out to the couch and laid there like a zombie. The boys were arguing back and forth, mostly Jackson...he actually got up after Jacob and I and woke up in just an ugly mood...so he was told to either straighten up or go back to bed. He did straighten up some, but some ugliness persisted for the next couple hours.

We didn't do much. I did laundry, Jacob did his school work, the boys worked on their bedroom a little (and I mean very little..I just didn't have the energy to get in there with them and MAKE them do it).

I had to go to the commissary because we managed to run out of toilet paper...just one of those necessities of life that you can't live without! Then I had a FRG meeting tonight, oh yipee. It was my last meeting as FRG leader thank goodness. The meeting was fine. Chad didn't get home until after 7:30. I wasn't in the mood to cook so I went by BK (I really don't like that place, but we're limited). Not a good dinner at all, but we all got fed.

Tomorrow has to be a better day. It just has to be. Any day that doesn't mark the day my daughter dies, is  better than today.
