Praying for Health

Jackson (4) just woke up a few minutes ago feeling sick and then proceeding to get sick (in the toilet thankfully). Jacob (6) who was just sick yesterday is feeling sick AGAIN. Please be in prayer for our household that this will pass quickly and that Emma and I will remain healthy. Emma's so small that if she gets this, most likely she'd be admitted to make sure she didn't get dehydrated. I do breastfeed so she's getting all the extra antibodies to help keep it away and the boys haven't had a ton of contact with her today. Jacob more than Jack.

Please also pray that I stay healthy. Me being sick just isn't possible...not with Chad out in the field for still 2 more weeks, a 3 month old and the boys. I simply can't afford to be sick.

Thank you and God Bless

Christmas Card Exchange Info

I've had a few inquiries about postage to mail me a card. We're on a US Military base so it's just a good old fashioned American Stamp. It will not cost you any more than if you were mailing a letter inside the USA! So just slap a stamp on it and stick it in your mailbox or drop it off at the post office and it'll get to me. The biggest difference is that it can take up to 2 weeks, although AVERAGE time is a week. No matter where you are at, the card will go the New York and from there it'll get on a US Military plane and head to Germany to an AF base and then it's transported to our post!

I am excited about the card exchange I'm going to go find some cute cards that represent Germany to send you guys!!

Wiped Out...Pictures

I'm wiped out! I was up until 4 last night talking on the phone with Emily. Hush, Kelly...no comment on it! It's obviously exhausting to be up that late but so good to just be able to talk without interruption, the most interruption I get is Emma needing to nurse and so at times Em has to hear my little piggy as she calls Emma (lol) but otherwise it's just the two of us talking, laughing, crying....I love these moments. Now I had to be up early this morning and it HURT...I had to be up at 7:30! Ouch! I had my friends son coming over for a few hours. She had her glucose test this morning, her husband actually dropped her little boy off (he's 2) about 8:30. I had rotting pumpkins (already bagged up) and a full trash can to empty and take down. Luck would have it the trashman was picking up today so I just dropped the bags off at the back of the truck as he instructed me and upstairs I came. I did a few last minute clean ups and then laid on the couch for about 30 minutes, then thought "I should vaccuum"...so I did! I did the living room and dining room and cleaned up all the bird seed that our messy bird feels the need to throw out of his cage. He drives me up the wall with his constant singing (that lovely phrase...sings like a canary, well ours is one and he's loud and obnoxious!) it's insanely correct. The boys had popcorn on Saturday and 4 little boys 4,5,6,& 7 are messy popcorn eaters, so that had to be cleaned up. Oh yes..Saturday I had 4 little boys over here. Friday our friends son, B, spent the night and about 2 in the afternoon our downstairs neighbor came up to see if the boys could go down and play in their apartment, since we already had a visitor I told her (mom) that he (T) could stay up here and play. I took the boys both home about 4:40 before heading to the store to pick up a few odds and ends that I needed. So anyways....I do have laundry I MUST get going today on, but otherwise things are pretty clean around here. Jacob took out all the recycling today, I'm going to have to have him taking it out more than once a week, we just end up with way too much recycling and he has to take often 5 or more trips. We recycle everything we possibly can. It limits on the trash which is great but the recycling gets to being a mess in the corner we have our container in (which isn't near big enough).

So....anyways I'm going on virtually no sleep. I'm tired, but at this point I'm scared if I slept I'd never want to get up, so my "GOAL" is to get to bed early. ROFL...if Emily doesn't call! Oh not sure if I shared or not, but we got Vonage! Yes you can get it in Germany too! We got a Kansas number knowing we'll most likely be moving back there when the times comes for us to leave Germany. My parents have called, Emily's called, Tami's called...amazingly my inlaws have not called. Of course if she's not checked her email and seen we have the new no, then she doesn't know. Which is ok since Chad's out in the field right now anyways. Oh and last night while the boys were talking to my dad....my friend M called from Hawaii! :) :) I will probably call her tomorrow morning.

Ok so the pictures are of the infamous hedge hog that Chad caught. Oh that man! LOL There's a few other pictures thrown in too! :) I think I may go ahead and lay down with Emma and just snuggle with her!

Oh before I go! Jacob, that boy ROCKS!!! He swept and swiffered (wet jet) the whole stairwell. He cleaned the walls and the stair railing, and  he swept away the leaves that were in front of our building! He asked for $1.00 to do it! I gave him $10.00! He's asked to clean the laundry room, but we have 8 apartments in this stairwell so one of them can do the laundry room, although I just cleaned it and the basement so what needs to be done isn't much! I have a good boy and I KNOW how blessed I am!

Halloween

The pictures are above. Both boys were the same...they were Peter from the Chronicles of Narnia and Emma was a little Princess! They had a blast at the Hallween Festival and there's a few pictures thrown in there from Tuesday's outing to Toys R Us for their Halloween Party, and pumpkin carving time as well.

The kids had a great time at the Fall Festival! There were a few witches, which there was not supposed to be (I'm not talking cutesy type I'm talking dark and kind of scary looking) and there was a woman helping run the face painting booth and she was half dressed, she had on a half shirt...there were complaints on those from others as well so hopefully if we do this next year those will not occur. There were different activities for the kids to do and crafts and of course each one had cand for the kids! The boys hand lots of candy, it was a good night! I think all our friends were there and the kids had a blast!

As you can see in the pictures Emma looks tired, she was absolutely worn out. She crashed in Chad's arms and was out for a good 45 minutes and the gym was sooooooo loud! She slept so peacefully. She did really well with that many people around. I feel so blessed with her, she's such a sweet and easy little girl. I can't believe that on Saturday she's going to be 3 months old! How's that possible?

Oh there's some pictures from Monday in there to...pumpkin carving. Chad let the boys help actually carve. They of course had to clean out their pumpkins, which for the most part Jacob doesn't mind, but Jack does not like doing it! It's a nasty job and someone has to do it! LOL

Well I'm sitting here fighting to keep my eyes open and yawning. I was up VERY late on the phone with Emily...until 4:30 am :X Shhh Kelly! Chad had to be up at 4:40 so as I was drifting off he was getting up and getting dressed. They left this morning for the field, he'll e back in 3 weeks. He'll be home the day before Thanksgiving. He has his cell phone so we can talk to him everyday. Oh we got Vonage for our phone too! We called my parents first...last night. I obviously talked to Emily last night, although she called me but we both have vonage so no biggie :) then today the boys wanted to talk to my mom so we called her and then we called my brother's house and talked to my SIL and my niece Brooke,  but Bailey was not home from kindergarten yet. When Bailey did get home she called! I talked to her very briefly, Jacob talked to her, then let Jackson, and then he took the phone back and they talked for probably 30-45 minutes! She asked if she could call back tomorrow too! She's just too precious and wonderful. I LOVE my nieces and miss them terribly.

Ok now I'm really off to bed! If the boys  sleep until 8 tomorrow I can actually get about 8 hrs of sleep, well other than Emma probably waking up once during the night. Still an awesome nights sleep.

God Bless
