Exhausted!

We had Awana tonight, I'm so tired. My legs feel like Jello. I LITERALLY RAN all night long. Tonight was truly the real "test", last week was the first week and everything went so smoothly, tonight it was fine, just more hectic. A room that was SUPPOSED to be open wasn't, so 2 of our groups had to to across the parking lot to another building, which was fine...just we were not prepared for that and didn't have everything handed out like we needed.

I want to go to bed, but we still have to have dinner (don't worry Chad's starting that! LOL). I think I could take a nice bubble bath as well, that sounds REALLY good! I am so thankful that I have a good husband that will cook when I'm just too tired to. It's going to suck when he's gone for so many reasons, one being when I'm just tired and need help. I have good friends here though and we'll all be able to lean on one another.

Well time to go help my hubby.

God Bless from the very tired Awana-Sparky Secretary :) :)

So glad Chad could help you by getting dinner started! I remember crazy Awana nights - running frantically to get everything ready, dinner early because our program ran from 6:30 to 8:30 and as one of the Secretary's, I had to be there at 6:00. Lots of fun though.

If you don't follow her journal, check out Mary's journal - she had an entry today about painting pumpkins for Awana. Here's the link:

hope you get rested up :)

Lucky you, not that you are so tired but that your hubby will cook.  Mine is only capable of reheating.  And then I have to tell him how.  Pitiful!

awww the things we do for our kids huh lol but it is worth it.  I am not part of the Awana's leadership or teaching but I can guess how much work they put in each week.  When you are this tiered just keep reminding yourself of the little seeds you are planting in to their hearts " )

That is great your hubby will cook for you.  Next time if he can't, plan ahead with the crock pot and then you will have a warm dinner waiting for you to eat right away.

Much Love,
Mary

Yep, I have the jello problem over here too.  I'm rundown badly- my cholesterol got all out of wack and now I'm taking all this medicine and had to change my coffee creamer which was a sad day indeed for me.  Hope we both feel better and get some rest and energy!  Seems like us being moms, our work is never done.  Sigh.  Hugs,
Lisa
